P. Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm Part 2: The Flowers

Flowers, flowers, flowers…..
What can I say? Every part of the beautiful Moss Mountain Farm was covered in flowers and gardens that were either in full bloom or about to bloom. It was incredible.
Allen had beautiful floral arrangements on the tables at every meal and throughout his home.

The vegetable and herb gardens were a thing of beauty. Growing everything from strawberries to cabbages, and all sorts of herbs. I definitely had garden envy as I strolled through his gardens, which honestly were just extensions of his home and incredible style.
I have decided that I am totally obsessed with paths, garden gates, and arches. Moss Mountain Farm didn’t disappoint. Beautiful stone paths, arches, and vine covered trellises graced every twist and turn throughout the gardens.
Have I already mentioned that his gardens are a ‘thing of beauty?’ I have? Oh well, the rose garden is incredible. The symmetry of this garden, the statue, the trees, every detail is planned and executed to perfection.
How about a few more gates, and a couple more random photos from around the house. Honestly, I have around a hundred more photos I could have uploaded, but this gives you a taste of the elegance that Moss Mountain Farm exudes.
This incredible oak tree was illuminated every evening to usher in a gorgeous sunset and a gourmet dinner. Needless to say, the final evening, as the lights were turned on, was bittersweet. Our time at Moss Mountain was drawing to a close, and we would have to say goodbye to our incredible host, P. Allen Smith, his remarkable staff, and new friends we made, and some old friends we finally had a chance to meet.
Until we meet again…….
