Christmas Decorating In A Small Space

|

Sometimes it is good to remember that small spaces can be just as lovely as huge homes. When it comes to Christmas decor, I love both. Christmas decorating in a small space can be opulent or minimal, and be equally lovely. Our small beach condo is barely 700 square feet. We have one small bedroom, one small bathroom, and a living room/kitchen combo. We love it there. The small size feels cozy and warm.Tiny Condo Decorated for ChristmasWhen I was deciding about decorating this year. It seemed that everything that was catching my attention was tree themed. Fresh, clean, bright colors help make a small place seem larger and happy.Wall hanging Chrismtas TreeWe didn’t even have a place that was suited for a Christmas tree, so when we discovered this awesome hanging tree, we fell in love. Want to come along for a very quick tour? I will show you how we made the most of a small space, and managed to add a little Christmas cheer.Table Top Christmas DisplayBottle brush trees are so whimsical, and a easy way to add a bit of life to an area that may have been a bit difficult to decorate. Also, I have always loved decorating with linens. These tree-themed hand towels added a nice touch to help draw the eye up.Christmas Touches in a Small SpaceSimple touches like a flocked tree branch, and a few color coordinated Christmas balls are a very economical way to add touches of holiday spirit to all sorts of places in your house that you may not have considered decorating before.Christmas Decor for the Kitchen TableOne of my favorite place to decorate is the kitchen. It is very small, and our table is long and skinny. We decided to add a lighted centerpiece, and hang these greenery wreaths on the backs of the chairs.Beach Garland Christmas DecorInstead of a traditional garland, I found these glitter letters and decided to create my own beach-themed garland to hang over this little cabinet we have in the kitchen.Winter Themed Keurig Coffee StationEven the coffee station isn’t safe from decor in this little condo. A festive coffee cup, hand towel, and a box of candy canes, transformed this little nook.Apron Sink Christmas Kitchen DisplayYes, I have an affair with farmhouse sinks. If you have been on my Instagram, you know this. I love decorating the area around my sinks. It makes me happy to have it clean and pretty, especially when I am washing dishes.Barn Door Christmas DecorOur sliding barn doors are one of the new additions since our renovation. A couple of small Christmas wreaths hung over the doors and tied with sheer aqua ribbon marks the entrance into the bedroom and bathroom.Christmas Decor for a small space bedroomThe bedroom received a little Christmas love also, a couple of seasonal throw pillows, and a tiny little aqua tree on the bedside table.Aqua Colored Christmas Decor

The other side of the bedroom also received a little beach themed Christmas tree, and my dresser needed a touch of decor also.

As you can see, the themed is carried on through the bedroom. Most of the items you see here, I already had. Some of the same ornaments that we used on the living room tree, are also used on the dresser. All you need is a fuzzy throw, some twinkle lights, ornaments, and a few favorite finds, and you can have a pretty Christmas presentation.
